• Added the Max plan, with unlimited transcription, translation and hosted answers (fair use applies).
• Sessions now end on their own when no speech is heard for a long time. You get a warning first and can choose **Keep listening**.

Improvements

• The free trial on your first sign-in is now 60 minutes and 50 answers.
• The Free plan now limits the number of profiles, meeting sources and how far back you can open history. Answer translation and hiding from Activity Monitor need Pro or higher. Locked items show a lock and **View Plans**.
• Moving to a lower plan never deletes your profiles, meeting sources or history. Upgrade again and they are all there.

• Transcription and translation on this Mac, with no API key: your voice never leaves the Mac.
• AI by task: choose which AI handles transcription, translation and answers — SpeechShield, this Mac, Claude Code, Codex, OpenAI or Soniox.
• Use SpeechShield AI right in the app, and see your plan and usage there.
• A first-run guide walks you through an overlay demo, signing in and a tour of the app. Replay it from Settings.
• End a session from the phone viewer's menu. Phone control is now on by default.
